1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CleanChart (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service.

2. Description of Service

CleanChart is a web application that lets you create data visualizations from files you provide (such as CSV, JSON, Excel, and other supported formats). Your files are read in your browser; data cleaning and chart generation involve transient in-memory processing on our servers, and your data is discarded once your chart is returned — we do not store your files or your generated charts, except that a generated chart image (never your data) is kept for 24 hours when you explicitly request a download link, then deleted automatically. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

3. Accounts & Eligibility

Some features require an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your account and for any activity that occurs under it. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to use the Service.

5. Intellectual Property & Your Content

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by CleanChart and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy or reuse it except as permitted by these terms.

You retain all rights to the data you upload and the charts you create. By using the Service, you grant us only the limited permission needed to operate the Service for you (for example, storing the chart images you choose to save). We do not claim ownership of your content.

6. Payments & Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed through our payment provider, Polar.sh. By purchasing a plan you authorize the applicable recurring or one-time charges. Prices and plan features may change; we will give reasonable notice of material changes.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, and your payment method is charged for the next period, until you cancel. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged again.

You can cancel a subscription at any time, in a few clicks, through your account or the customer portal — no phone call or email required. Unless required by law, payments already made are non-refundable.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. You are responsible for verifying that any charts or outputs meet your needs before relying on them.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CleanChart will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these terms or use the Service in a way that could harm us or other users. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date below and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
